The flowering and seed production cycle is a critical stage in the life of every agarwood tree. Healthy flowers develop into fruits that contain viable seeds, supporting sustainable cultivation and the growth of future generations of Aquilaria Malaccensis trees.
At Dasos-One, we carefully monitor and manage every stage of this cycle — from the emergence of the first flower buds to the selective harvesting of premium seeds from our most productive mother trees. This attention to the reproductive process is fundamental to maintaining the genetic quality and long-term productivity of our 30,000+ tree plantation.
Fresh seeds, collected at peak ripeness, are transferred immediately to our 1,500 sqm nursery for germination — ensuring the highest possible survival and establishment rates for the next generation of plantation trees.

Flowering Season
BLOOM
Mature Aquilaria Malaccensis trees produce small clusters of pale yellow to greenish-white flowers. These delicate blooms attract pollinators — primarily bees and small insects — and are essential to the tree's natural reproductive cycle.

POLLINATION
FERTILIZATION
Successful pollination occurs when pollen is transferred between flowers. The process is facilitated by wind and insect activity. In our plantation environment, we support natural pollinator activity to ensure robust fruit set.

Fruit Development
MATURATION
Following successful pollination, flowers develop into capsular fruits. As the fruit matures, it splits open to release seeds. The timing of harvest is critical — seeds collected at peak ripeness yield significantly higher germination rates.

Seed Collection
PROPAGATION
Fresh seeds offer the highest germination rates and are used immediately for nursery propagation. Selected seeds are sourced from our healthiest, most productive mother trees to maintain genetic quality and plantation vigor.
